This policy explains how Cogniqo AI handles information from you, our client, and from the customers who message your business through the systems we build for you.
From you: your name, contact details and the information about your business that you share so we can build and run your service.
From your customers: the messages and order details that pass through your WhatsApp and checkout, so the system can answer them and complete the sale.
Only to deliver what you've hired us for: to build, run, improve and support your automation, and to stay in touch with you about it. That is the full extent of it.
We will never sell, rent or trade your data or your customers' data. We will never use it to market unrelated products, hand it to third parties, or for any purpose beyond running your service. Full stop.
Your information and your customers' information live inside your own accounts, your WhatsApp, your payment gateway and your Shopify store. We only access what we need to keep your system working.
We never handle or store payment details ourselves. All payments are processed by your chosen provider, Yoco, iKhokha, PayFast or Shopify, through their own secure systems.
We take reasonable steps to protect any information we do hold, and we limit access to only what is needed to run your service.
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just get in touch.
